As the days go by, I am feeling excited and scared at the same time for my baby’s arrival (2 more months to go!).  I just read a magazine article that suggests when an American couple is expecting a baby they usually say they are "having" a baby, but with the Dutch they say they are "getting" a baby.  I guess there is a difference on how you perceive the arrival of a newborn.  In my case, after having 2 miscarriages, I agree with "getting" a baby.  Because I believe that children are gifts from God and getting one from Him is such a blessing and such a privilege.  I know that He can easily give and easily take it away from you.  So being given such a blessing shouldn’t be taken for granted.  Gratitude is always the key to contentment.  I just hope that I am worthy of this tiny miracle inside me.
