Ok…oh man….this morning, I ordered a tall, hot cocoa from the barista at the Starbucks Coffee at the lobby area of where  I work.  As a promotional thingamajig, they have those cards where when you buy 10 beverages, you get a free tall coffee in the end.  So anyway, I order my cocoa, I pay for it, I get it and then I ask the barista to stamp my card.  The barista looks at the card and says that my cocoa does not qualify because it’s not a coffee beverage.  I looked at her perplexed and I knew that I’m dealing with a piece of shit idiot.  I couldn’t believe I have to point out to this idiot how to read their promo card.  Just so you know what the card read here it goes…line by line…

Purchase any ten Starbucks Coffee
Beverages and get one Starbucks
Tall Regular Drip Coffee Free

I could tell that the idiot is confusing the word Coffee after Starbucks on the first line meaning to say that the beverage should be a Coffee Beverage.  Well shit Shirlock, Starbucks Coffee is the name of the company that’s why they put Starbucks Coffee together on the first line and Beverages on the second line.  Because…hello…Starbucks just doesn’t sell coffee, they also sell tea and for goodness sake my tall, hot cocoa.  Anyway, even if I was wrong, I’m a patron and what harm would it be for her to stamp my card?  Oh geez, I’ll be getting a free cup of coffee.  She’d rather piss the crap out of me than to stamp my card.  So anyway, the idiot finally gave in and stamped my card but she was still mad that I, the customer, was right.  She hands me my change, and by instinct I was going to put money in her tip jar….but you know what, fuck her…so I just left.  What a way to make a customer’s day.  Fucking bitch!
