Finally, I will be graduating this May 2009 from CSUF.  A BA in Art (General Studio) with Honors (cum laude even - unbelievable!)  It was a rough road but I’m glad I took the journey.  Although I am getting this degree late in life, I have no regrets because I know I did my best, I did it on my own and I don’t have any educational loans that I need to pay off (one of the benefits from working at a university.)  I was debating if I should walk on stage to get my diploma, but I think I should–for my son to see.  If I have learned anything from this experience, it is to encourage and support my son thru his schooling especially when it comes time for college.  I just hope for the best.
